| There was a soda shop across Jefferson Ave.next to the old East Point Theater. Judy was one of the owners I think. Every morning a coke and a Cherry Hump candy bar was the order of the day. When you went in you had to push your way through the cigarette smoke!! I guess this must have been the last place that sold a 5 cent coke. Also after and sometimes during school we would go to the Dariy Queen next to Norman Berry Dr. It was always a challange to see if we could make it and not get caught by Dusty Dodd the principle. | |
