Carol Murphy	Dave Hudiburgh	Dear Carol, you may not remember my name but surely you'll remember the time you and your Dad helped a young trooper find and buy his first car...does white Corvette ring a bell? My dear friend, I made a real effort to contact you for/during your 50th class reunion but didn't have enough specific information. Please know I hope this finds you safe and well...and OK with sharing a little note now and then. The last contact I had with your parents was the day after I got out of the Army and they had me over for supper. A few years later, while a State Trooper (Texas)I spent a year in a driver's licensing station and would you believe it, a FBI agent about my age came in for a Texas D.L. and, during the driving phase I noticed his old D.L. showed East Point...I asked if he knew you and he about ran over the curb getting the car stopped! He asked if I'd been at Ft. Bragg and when I said yes he shook his head and said "So your the one!" ah but he was grinning while we shared our very mutual astonishment. :) Anyway my friend, I retired from State law enforcement a few years back and, except for occasional police training missions overseas (Baghdad and Amman most recently) I'm enjoying a home in the Ozarks with a fantastic view of Beaver Lake (some 800 feet below).
